CHAPTER 40

previously,

i bbmed majed to know if he's there yet or not and i was waiting for him in his hotel room w after few minutes he showed up, i surprised him for sure. we stayed at his hotel room for a while then we went out to walk, the weather got colder, he gave me his cardigan to wear and he went to some coffee shop to bring us something to drink. the one thing i loved the most about that night, the spontaneous kiss...






the next morning,

haifa: wake up

me: why?

haifa: nroo7 wooden bakery yalla goome

haifa: yalla i'll wait for you down

me: ok

i went to the bathroom to take a quick shower, i wore my baby yellow juicy couture training suit, i ponytailed my hair, applied some makeup w i went down to haifa. she wanted to take the car 3ashan b3eed shwy, its notvfar at all bs haifa don't like to ride bikes, i wanted to go on my bike in the end we took our bikes lol. gabl ma a6la3 i called majed w i told him where i'm going 3ashan ma y3a9b.

i was thinking aish feeha mama w laish haifa asked me etha mama 7akatle something, its just weird.

anyway, we went back to the girls, they were all awake, we made ourselves breakfast and stayed on the balcony enjoying the warmth of the sun.

majed was going to leave today so we decided to go out together. i went to my room to change my clothes and go to meet majed. its warm outside, so i decided to wear something for summer, i wore a high waisted short with a collared blouse and i didn't want it to look like a summer outfit so i wore a short beaded jacket. he took me downtown to lunch then went to the corniche, we walked on the beach, bare foot. awal ma he saw me he told me not to wear shorts outside ella etha ana with my family lol.

he checked out already so we went directly to the airport after spending a great day together.

we arrived to the airport and i stayed with him for a while then he had to go.

majed: entabhe 3ala nafsk 7abeebte

me: enshallah

majed: w don't wear this fe makan go home w change it

me: ok *giggled*

majed: you're mine faahma?

me: yea

majed: look it me

i looked into his eyes.

majed: a7bk lina bnt ... al-...

i giggled.

majed: i can't live without you

me: neither do i

majed: te7beene?

me: la tes2al you know the answer

i answered him w i giggled 6ab3an. i hugged him w didn't want to let go bs i have to. we said our byes w he went inside. i called dana to pick me up gabl ma noo9l el ma6ar w lama i was with majed in the airport she called telling me that she's waiting for me outside in the parking lot. we went home w lama we arrived my sister called 3ashan n6la3 net3asha all together. i changed my clothes w sat waiting for dana and nouf to finish.

the week passed way to fast and we went back to riyadh. we had a blessed time in beirut, a trip to remember...

awal ma we landed i bbmed majed telling him that we arrived. w he actually came to the airport to surprise me bs i couldn't talk to him bs i saw him mn be3eed w he followed us lama el bait.

lama we entered the house mama w 5alate was all there. we went up to our rooms to refresh ourselves, and then came back down to sit with my aunts. they were talking about the summer w wain will we spend it. you see we travel all together, i mean my aunts. they decided that our summer will be in the united states. i just love lama i get back mn makan w my family starts talking about the next vacation. it just feels great.


and of course i told majed about it. but he won't go anywhere 3ashan summer course. will, his education aham. 


the semester past bser3a, the finals came w i studied really hard for it. i can't go out 3ashan i keep studying. majed's orders lol


lama we finished our last exam we went back to nouf's house, i slept at her house 3ashan we wanted to get tan in the next morning. 


later that day i went back home i didn't see anyone b3dain mama called me to get down. 


i went down stairs w i saw mama w baba there, slmt 3laihm.

me: el 7mdelellah baba ams kaan my last exam w i did great

me: whats wrong?

me: ...


mama: lama 7akeetk w ente fe beirut kaan 3ashan hatha el maw'9oo3 bs abook gaal ma ns2alk ella after your finals w ana gelt el ahl el walad ma 7ns2alk ella b3d el finals


me: ...

baba: ana s2alt 3an el walad w el ne3m feeh w fe ahlh wallah


mama: eewa al-... w el ne3m feehm w faisal walad 7alal


awal ma mama said his name i teared up non stop. w i actually said i don't want to get married now, i don't want faisal. 


baba tried to calm me down, he told me law i don't want to get married now it ok bs at least afker fe el maw'9oo3. w lama mama said that faisal wants me w he told his mom about me i cried even more lama she said that. 


i left them w i went to my room. i cried w i didn't want to talk to anyone, not even my sister lama she came. 


haifa: liin 5ala9 stop crying


i sniffled.


haifa: 5ala9 liin it ok 


me: its not *sniffled*


haifa: ella, etha you don't want the guy 3aade you don't have to say yes


i cried more.


haifa: whats wrong talk to me


me: i hate him i don't want to hear his name *sniffled*


haifa: ente ta3reen faisal meen?


me: yea *sniffled*


haifa: he's a good guy


me: he's not *sniffled*


haifa: how do you know? you don't know him 7aram


my eyes was tearing up. i wanted to tell her bs law i told her i will have to tell her about majed so i stayed in my room crying w she stayed with me the whole night. 


my life was perfect. now i'm living a nightmare. i didn't believe it lama he said one day he will propose i thought he's joking but i was wrong.

i woke up the next morning w i saw a dozen of missed calls from majed and dana. i didn't want to talk to any of them so i went back to sleep. 

dana came to my house later that day,

dana: hey ente

me: ...

dana: liin wake up

me: what?

dana: waink 6ool el yoom? its summer 

me: ok

dana: aish feeeeek?

me: nothing

dana: ta3baana?

me: la2

dana: ella you have a really sick face

me: no

dana: look at yourself in the mirror shoofe your eyes

me: dana please just go

and i start crying. i didn't want to talk so i yelled at her asking her to leave bs she didn't, she hugged me w i hugged her back, i didn't know what to do i just wanted someone next to me. then my sister haifa came. they both stayed next to me lama i fell asleep. 

haifa told dana, w dana told haifa why i was crying lama i woke i saw them both sitting on my couch. haifa came to my bed and sat.

haifa: you're ok now?

me: i don't know

dana: i'll go to get you some water

dana left us alone to talk.

haifa: dana told me laish you don't want faisal

me: ...

haifa: i'm sorry i said he's a good guy

me: ...

haifa: you really love majed?

i looked into my lap.

haifa: its ok i'm your sister i won't judge or say anything to you

i teared up. 

haifa: 5ala9 its ok liin

me: its not

haifa: why?

me: i don't know

dana came w we all stayed in my room. b3dain haifa went down w i stayed all alone with dana, she asked me aish elle 9aar w mata he asked me to marry him. i told her what happened w i wasn't crying because 5aayfa mn faisal or something, no. i was crying because i knew i can't hide all of this from majed. he will feel something w i can't lie on him about this w i was too afraid to tell him. 

dana stayed at my house, she's going to sleep here. 

we were watching a movie fe our living room, haifa went to my room to take her camera lama she heard my phone ringing, it was majed.

she answered the phone.

majed: aloo

haifa: yea?

majed: liin?

haifa: la2

majed: meen?

haifa: haifa

majed: ...

haifa: its ok majed i know who you are

majed: umm

haifa: kaifk?

majed: el 7mdelellah wain liin?

haifa: ma 7akeetaha?

majed: la2 mn ams wainha? feeha shy?

haifa: i don't know how to tell you this

majed: aish feeeeeha e7kee

haifa: mafeeha shy she's ok

majed: ajal laish ma trd 3ly?

haifa: 3ashan...

she told him everything w she asked him to call me w to tell me everything will be ok w the two of us will be together for the rest of outlives. 

the movie ended w i went to my room w i decided to call majed. 

i called him bs he didn't pick up so i called again. i called four times b3daha tgafal his phone. so i entered my bbm to talk to him and to see whats wrong. but i didn't find him.

he deleted me.
